Instructions
This medicine is injected into the skin. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist where on your body this medicine can be injected and how to inject it.
Before using the medicine, read and make sure you understand the instructions for preparing the medicine and using the on-body injector. If you have any questions, talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
Carefully follow the instructions for preparing this medicine before injection.
Check the medicine before each use. If the liquid medicine has any particles in it, appears discolored, or if the vial appears damaged, do not use it.
Keep medicine at room temperature. Protect from light.
Keep the medicine in its original container.
Do not refrigerate or freeze this medicine.
The injector device is for one time use only. Do not reuse and do not reapply if the device falls off.
Wash your hands before and after handling this medicine.
Clean the injection site with alcohol before applying the injector.
The on-body injector will deliver the medicine over 5 hours. Limit your physical activity during this time to prevent the device from falling off.
Do NOT ride in a car or airplane while the medicine is being given. Keep the injector at least 12 inches away from mobile phones, computers, tablets, or other wireless devices.
Ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist to show you how to use this medicine correctly.
Do not inject into skin that is bruised, tender, red, hard or has scars or stretch marks.
Change location of injection each time.
This medicine will make you urinate more. If you have difficulty passing urine, please tell your doctor.
This medicine can make you sensitive to the sun. Use sunscreen or protective clothing when in sun.
Tell your doctor if you have severe or persistent sweating, diarrhea or vomiting. These can increase your risk of a serious side effect.
It is important that you keep taking each dose of this medicine on time even if you are feeling well.
If you miss a dose, contact your doctor for instructions.
Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping any medicine.
Tell your doctor if symptoms do not get better or if they get worse.
This medicine may affect your blood sugar levels. If you have diabetes, talk to your doctor before changing the dose of your diabetes medicine.

Side Effects

- blurry vision
- dizziness or lightheadedness
- dry mouth
- headaches
- pain, redness, swelling near injection
- increased urinary frequency
Call your doctor or get medical help right away if you notice any of these more serious side effects:
- confusion
- ear problems (ringing in the ears, hearing loss)
- fainting
- numbness or tingling in hands and feet
- fast, irregular, or slow heartbeat
- signs of kidney damage (such as change in urine color or bubbly urine)
- signs of liver damage (such as yellowing of eye or skin, dark urine, or unusual tiredness)
- muscle cramps or weakness
- persistent or unusual thirst
A few people may have an allergic reaction to this medicine. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical help quickly.
